Turbo Yeast is, in short, accelerated, high alcohol yeast intended for fermentation of alcohol. General Calculations:
17 grams of sugar in a one-liter mash, fermented to a low Oechsle degree on the negative side (lower then 1.000 on S.G. on a hydrometer) yields 1% alcohol.
Thus, for example, for 25 litres of mash at 18% we need 25 x 18 x 17 grams of sugar = 7650 grams of sugar, or approximately 8 kg
LIQUOR QUIK TURBO PURE X-PRESS
Turbo Pure X-Press represents a new generation of professional turbo yeast developed in late 2006. Produces a cleaner wash than its predecessors in the same alcohol-by-volume category. Makes up to 18% alcohol by volume. Great for both pot still and refulx still uses.
Instructions: To Make 25L (6.5 US Gallons)
Pour 21L (5.5 US Gallons) of warm water (40®C/104°F) into your fermenter. Add 8kg (18 pouds) of sugar to produce 18% alcohol by volume. Mix well until sugar is completely dissolved. Add the Turbo Yeast package contents and stir for one minute. Leave to ferment between 21-30°C (70-85°F); optimum is 25°C (77°F), until fermentation ceases (4-6 days). Complete fermentation times are temperature dependent. For best results, clear with Super-Kleer K.C 2-stage clearing agent before distilling.

Express is the fastest Turbo on the planet, fermenting out 6kg of sugar in less than 24 hours and producing very good distillate quality. It is important that water start temperature is correct and only 6kg of sugar is used to get maximum speed. We recommend you use Turbo Carbon as it will significantly improve the performance of Express Turbo.
Power Turbo – Extreme strength
Power should be used where high alcohol strength is the most important thing. Fermenting to 23% ABV in the wash will increase the still yield by nearly one third! Only use where cool air temperature (between 18–24°C) can be maintained. Remember, the more alcohol produced by the yeast, the lower the final distillate quality. We recommend you use Turbo Carbon as it will significantly improve the performance of Power Turbo.
Triple Distilled Turbo – Ultimate quality
Triple Distilled Turbo should be used where ultimate alcohol quality is of primary importance. Only use where cool air temperature (between 18–24°C) can be maintained. This is a revolutionary breakthrough in Turbo Yeast development making it possible to produce “triple distilled” quality alcohol in the home. It is essential to use Turbo Carbon with Triple Distilled Turbo Yeast.
A high-alcohol, high-temperature tolerant dual function yeast complete with needed nutrients, Yields 23 liters and produces up to 14% alcohol in 24 hours and up to 20% within 4-5 days. Great for liqueurs (not recommended for beer)
