Ahtanum is a great alternative to Cascade or Amarillo for aroma and flavor additions. We highly recommend you give this hop a try in American-style Bitters, Pale Ales, and IPAs. Characteristics include citrus, floral, pine, and earthy notes. More grapefruit forward than Cascade. Moderate bittering properties.

Substitutes: Cascade or Amarillo.

Dual purpose hop with properties similar to cascade. Great for American pale ales, IPAs & ambers.

Used for bittering, finishing, and especially dry hopping.

Typical  8 - 11% Alpha Acid

Bravo (US) Hop Pellets, 1 oz

Super High Alpha. Became quite popular during the Great Hop Shortage and was a staple in some West Coast IPA's (Russian River even brewed a Bravo IPA). The higher Co-Ho
levels mean a not completely smooth bittering, but not as harsh as Chinook. (it's bittering properties are similar to Simcoe).
Flavor and aroma are described as an earthy spice and herb, fruity and floral. It's a decendant of Zeus and Nugget.
Using our Bravo bittering hops is an excellent way to add an earthy, floral aroma with a clean, smooth bitterness and a bit of citrus and spice to boot. It was developed by the Hopsteiner Breeding Program so you know it’s top notch.

Cascade (US) Hop Pellets, 1 oz

Description: Pleasant, flowery, spicy, and citrusy. Can have a Unmistakable grapefruit citrus aroma and flavor. This is THE Classic American Pale Ale hop. Great by itself and it plays really well with others.
Usage: Dual Purpose
Typical Beer Styles: American-Style Ales, especially Pale Ale, IPA, Porter, Barley wines; Can also be used in Witbier.

Also good for late additions and dry hopping American pale, amber, and IPAs.

Typical Alpha Acid: 4.5 - 7%

Centennial (US) Hop Pellets, 1 oz

Description: Strong Citrus and Pine aroma (sometimes described as Juicy Fruit or Trix), with excellent bittering qualities.
Very popular American bittering hop that is also widely used for late additions and dry hopping. Sometimes billed as a supercharged Cascade, it has a pleasant spicy citrus aroma and clean bitterness.
Typical Beer Styles: All American Ales, American IPA,  Porters and Barleywines.
Possible Substitutions Cascade, possibly Columbus or Chinook
