Blue Cheese made from this kit will have Penicillium Roqueforti Mold Spores added so that the final cheese is veined with blue cheese mold and carries a distinctive smell. The tast of blue vein can be quite strong and salty. Making blue cheese is no harder then making Feta or Camembert; however the trick to making a great blue cheese is having a good place to store it while it matures.
This blue cheese kit provides you with all the equipment and ingredients to make a blue vein style . However, please note, this cheese blue cheese kit is designed to be used with the Mad Millie Basic Cheese making Equipment Kit, so we highly recoment you purchase a Mad Millie Basic Cheese making Equipment Kit if you are a new cheese maker, and do not yet have proper cheese making equipment.
