Very pale in color, more so than most light malts. MUNTONS EXTRA LIGHT DRIED MALT EXTRACT 3 lb also has a milder malt flavor than most malts. This is most likely your lightest, mildest malt extract . MUNTONS EXTRA LIGHT DRIED MALT EXTRACT 3 lb great for very pale ales and lagers. Dry malt will make your beer have more body than liquid malts. It contains a bit more unfermentable solids which helps head retention and mouth feel. Great quality malt. Especially good in British style ales, stouts, porters, etc... Munton & Fison Extra Light Dry Malt Extract is from the UK. Extra Light malt is usually used in Cream Ales, American Lagers, and Pilsner beers. Typical analysis: Color: 3 °L.
