Five Star Acid #5 Conc. Nitric/Phosphoric Blend --- 1 Gallon
Acid Cleaner # 5 is great to Passivates and Brightens Stainless Steel
Initial Acid Passivation: After cleaning vessel with alkali cleaner use 5 ounces of ACID CLEANER #5 per
gallon of water. Circulate for 20 minutes at 120°F. Drain vessel and ALLOW TO AIR DRY. The vessel must air
dry to achieve successful passivation. (Before using vessel, it is required to rinse with potable water and
sanitize according to public health standards.)
Re-passivation: Use 1 oz. per gallon of water and circulate for 30 minutes at 120°F. ALLOW TO AIR DRY.
(Before using vessel, it is required to rinse with potable water and sanitize according to public health
standards.)
Note: Sensitive alloys may require milder concentrations.

Io Star Iodophor Sanitizer, 4 oz.by Five Star
An iodine based, low foaming iodophor no-rinse sanitizer. 1-2 minute contact time when used in the concentration of 1oz per 5 gallons. It will slightly stain vinyl tubing and some plastic parts over time but will not affect the functionality of the tubing at all.
Iodophor is a solution of iodine complexed with a polymer carrier that is very convenient to use. One tablespoon in 5 gallons of water (15ml in 19 l) is all that is needed to sanitize equipment with a two minute soak time. This produces a concentration of 12.5 ppm of titratable iodine. Soaking equipment longer, for 10 minutes, at the same concentration will disinfect surfaces to hospital standards. At 12.5 ppm the solution has a faint brown color that you can use to monitor the solution's viability. If the solution loses its color, it no longer contains enough free iodine to work. There is no advantage to using more than the specified amount of iodophor. In addition to wasting the product, you risk exposing yourself and your beer to excessive amounts of iodine.
Iodophor will stain plastic with long exposures, but that is only a cosmetic problem. The 12.5 ppm concentration does not need to be rinsed, but the item should be allowed to drain before use. Even though the recommended concentration is well below the taste threshold, I rinse everything with a little bit of cooled boiled water to avoid any chance of off-flavors, but that's me.
One Step Cleanser / Sanitizer - 8 oz. Use 1 tablespoon per gallon. This oxygen based cleanser sanitizes on contact. Environmentally friendly and non-toxic. No rinsing required. What makes One Step different from other powdered cleansers? One Step is an environmentally sound no-rinse cleanser. Other powdered cleansers either require rinsing due to their alkaline nature or use materials that can be harmful to the ecosystem. One Step uses active oxygen to do its work. One Step is a unique substance which consists of oxygen entrained with a mineral crystal. When added to water, this crystal dissolves and releases the oxygen in such a way to form hydrogen peroxide. The hydrogen peroxide does its work and degrades into oxygen and water, leaving only the minerals behind. Those minerals are naturally occuring compounds in the environment and are quite stable. (Use 1 tablespoon per gallon of water).

Campden Tablets --- 25/Pkg
* Campden tablets are a convenient way to accurately sulfite fruit juice or wine.
* Made with potassium metabisulfite and contain 57% sulfur dioxide.
* Dissolve tablets in juice or wine per recipe. Typically use one tablet per gallon of must to obtain an SO2 level of 75 ppm.
* Crush tablets well, then mix in with the must or preferably dissolve in warm water and then add to must or wine.
* CAUTION - This chemical can cause an allergic reaction in some people, sometimes a severe reaction.

Five Star Acid #6 Cold Cleaning Acid/Detergent --1 Gal
ACID CLEANER #6 A highly detersive acid cleaner designed to be used in CO2 environments ____________________________________________________________________ BENEFITS Effectively Removes Stone Penetrates dried beer Low Foam Brightens Aluminum Surfaces DESCRIPITION ACID CLEANER #6 is a specially formulated as a keg cleaner to solve scale formation that develops with standard alkaline cleaners. Its blend of detergent and acid quickly penetrates dried beer and easily dissolves oxalate scale. Being an acid detergent, it can clean in a CO2 environment without damaging the keg. Continual use as the main keg cleaner will keep scale free and condition its inner surfaces. ACID CLEANER #6 can also be used as the main cleaner in bright beer tanks. Its ability to work cold and in CO2 makes it ideal for this job. It saves time by not requiring CO2 evacuation, and also its cold use will not create "rain storms" in the cooler. The temperature setting should be set between 120-160¢XF. It is not necessary to evacuate the kegs of CO2. Make up a solution of Acid # 6 at a rate of 1-2 oz. per gallon of water. Pre rinse kegs with warm water to remove excessive beer. Run kegs as the machine is preset. Sanitize kegs with Star Xene at a rate of 25 to 40 ppms. Bright Beer Tanks: Pre-rinse tanks with cold water. Do not evacuate to CO2. Make a solution of Acid #6 at a rate of 2-3 oz. per gallon of water. Circulate the Acid #6 solution for 15-20 minutes 45 to 60¢XF. If desired some of the wash solution can be used to clean the tap lines during the wash cycle. Rinse bright beer tank and tap lines with potable water. Prior to start up sanitize equipment with a suitable sanitizing rinse. COMPLIANCE ACID CLEANER #6 is acceptable to the U.S. Department of Agriculture as an acid cleaner for use in official meat, poultry, rabbit, and egg processing establishments. After use, a potable water rinse is required. SAFETY DANGER: CAUSES SEVERE BURNS TO SKIN AND EYES. HARMFUL OR FATAL IF SWALLOWED. Contains phosphoric and nitric acids. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Do not take internally. Wear safety goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Do not mix with or store near chlorine containing products as it will cause a release of chlorine gas. DO NOT use on galvanized metal. This compound will react with soft metals. FIRST AID: For Eyes: Hold eyes open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first five minutes. Then continue rinsing. Call Poison Control Center or doctor for treatment advice. If Swallowed: Call Poison Control Center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip on a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the Poison Control doctor. Do not give anything to an unconscious person. If on Skin or Clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call Poison Control Center for treatment advice. If Inhaled: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a Poison Control Center or doctor for treatment. NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Measure against circulatory shock, respiratory depression and convulsion may be needed.
