Spring Clamp Works With The Blue Gasket On The Hbf8B And Hbf

These plastic clamps are used with the blue sealing gasket to help seal the lid of the f8 and f15 fermenters to the tank. Using the blue sealing gasket and the clamps forces the CO2 out the airlock in the lid. All of these items are sold separately. Some brewers say you need six clamps and some say none are needed, some say they use a brick on the lid with the blue gasket. We have in the past recommend no gasket before we developed the new blue gasket. The red gasket was difficult to use and the yeast works better without the pressure of a seal. This is one of the great things about brewing and wine making. You decided what works best for you. It is all in the taste. That is all that counts.

CO2 Injector lid connection for Mini Brew fermentors This is the connection you need if you would like to supply your own CO2 bottle or use our MiniInjector Kit for covering you wine with CO2. Remember you will not need to 'top off' the tank or buy a 'floating lid' for your fermenter if you use our kit or supply your own CO2 or nitrogen (N) bottle. The CO2 or N protects the wine from bad bacteria. The fitting size for the plastic reducer is 1/2 inch MPT to 1/4 inch NPT. The brass union is 1/4 inch MFL and 1/4 NPT.

Connector Barb Thread 1/2"

The most common use is to connect the racking port valve, on the side of the conical, to a keg for filling. The adapter has 1/2 inch male thread on one end and is a 1/2 inch male barb connector on the opposite end. The tubing pushes over the bard end of the fitting and the male threads screw into the 1/2 inch ball valve. The male threads will also fit the mash tun, hot liquor tank or any 1/2 inch female thread. False Bottom For The Minimash Lauter Tun

Replacement False Bottom for the MiniMash Lauter Tun The False Bottom is the plastic filter that sits on the ledge near the bottom of the MiniMash Tun 15. The False Bottom separates the grain husks and other matter from the wort. There is a leg in the middle of the Mash Tun that helps support the false bottom. The false bottom is bolted to the center leg so it will not float. Please note white plastic ring pictured is not included
