Party Star Deluxe Co2 Tap This is just the tap unit for the Party Star Deluxe mini keg system. Sometimes things happen and you just need a replacement. This high quality metal/plastic tapper is the best mini keg dispenser available. Uses 16 gram CO2 cartridges. This system is perfect for the person who doesn't want to dedicate a refrigerator to a full size keg system. Simply prime your beer with 3 oz. of priming sugar, transfer into the mini keg, and in 2 -3 weeks you are ready to drink. Four 5L mini kegs is all you need for one batch of beer. You use 16 gm. CO2 cartridges to dispense the beer, but they cannot be used to carbonate the beer. Because you are using CO2, a keg will stay fresh for up to 5 - 6 weeks. You will use 1 CO2 cartridge per keg. Each mini keg will last for 6 - 8 uses before needing to be replaced. The Party Star Tap for 5 liter keg is sturdy metal construction. One of the best ways for the homebrewer and soft drink maker to serve out of a 5 liter keg. The party star tap is a terrific gadget made with durability in mind. It should last many years. The mini kegs are refillable at least 6 or 7 times. Some brewers get a dozen or more fills from each one. Prime your beer for mini kegs with about 60% of the priming sugar you would use for bottling. You can fill some bottles and one or two mini kegs from the same batch of homebrew. Mini kegs are popular because they fit in the fridge! Mini kegs travel well. Wrap some bubble wrap around a chilled keg. Over wrap with a hand towel. Go to your friend's house. NOTE: In addition to this tap you will need 1.33 gallon (5L) mini kegs, reusable rubber bungs, and 16 gram CO2 cartridges (1 per keg use) sold separately.
