Rogue Brutal IPA Brewcraft/Rogue Ales Ultimate Beer Ingredients Kit
Another great beer kit from Brewcraft USA and Rogue Ales. Brutal Bitter is similar to a classic English Bitter, only much, much bigger. 63 IBU and 6.1% alcohol... Not for the faint of heart!
Brutal got its name because of the heavy hopping, not because it is overly bitter. The Crystal hops used are of the low alpha variety. In large amounts you get fruity flavors and citrus aromas. When you hop your wort during the boil I suggest if you boil for 60 minutes do your bittering hops the last 30 minutes. With Brutal you are looking more for hop flavor than the bitterness.
Rogue's proprietary Pacman Ale yeast packaged by Wyeast is also available to be purchased separately as an option with this kit although the American ale yeast strains (included) will also work well.
You've got to love the guys at Rogue...showing some love for the homebrewers. This kit was designed in cooperation
with Rogue and with the blessing of John "More Hops" Maier, brewmaster at Rogue, so we homebrewers could
make the hoppy "BRUTAL BITTER" ourselves.
Here's what it says on the side of the box:
What Hop Shortage?
This beer is saturated with Crystal Hop flavor. 5.5 oz of hops, in fact.
The New York Times calls Rogue Ale's Brutal Bitter "Hedonistic" and Rogue calls it "Massive"
You will call it delicious.
Rare Crystal Hops provice the unmistakable aroma of a beer built in the classic style of
English Bitters, but MUCH bigger. The creamy texture and full body are courtesy of the
best 2-row malts, malted wheat and specialty grains.
Enjoy.
It produces a drink that is virually indistinguishable in color, flavor, and hop profile from the original.

Rogue Dead Guy Ale Brewcraft/Rogue Ales Ultimate Beer Ingredients Kit
Produced by Brewcraft USA, this is the first homebrewing kit formulated with the help of a major US craft brewer. Rogue Dead Guy Ale is a Bock style American ale that has won over 25 awards since it was first created in the mid-90s.
Rogue's proprietary Pacman Ale yeast packaged by Wyeast is available to be purchased separately or as an option with this kit although the American ale yeast strains will also work well.

It's a beautiful copper beer with a rich malty backbone and firm hop bitterness built in the style of the
strong bock beers of Germany.
The kit contains everything you need to brew an incredible batch of beer:
Malt Extract, specialty grains, boiling hops, aroma hops, Belgian candy sugar and instructions.
Rogue Dead Guy
Blonde hair, lederhosen, sauerkraut, and ridiculous efficiency on the Autobahnen. How else can we stereotype (we jest!) those Germans?
Folks, bier.
Specifically, we're talking Maierbock-style, a variation on the traditional Bock beers that provided Roman Catholic monks sustenance during periods of fasting. Maierbock beers are paler than their traditional counterparts, typically less malty, and serve as proof that some stereotypes are justified. This is the history on which Rogue innovates with Dead Guy Ale.
Recipient of over 15 awards since its first at the 1994 World Beer Championships, Dead Guy has a malty aroma and a rich hearty flavor. Floral, spicy, caramel, and honey notes balance the malt and result in a refreshing go-to beer. Think Dead Guy Ale, period. There isn't another we would point to as a better example.
Whether bier or beer, it's love in any language.
To achieve the intended (and best) flavor, we highly suggest brewing with Rogue's proprietary Pacman yeast, packaged by Wyeast
Here's a couple ideas. First, ferment your dead guy @60°F. This will result in a smoother more rounded beer with low esters almost lager in character. Second, don't worry about your final gravity (terminal) being too high. Dead Guy usually finishes between 1.016 to 1.019. If it finishes too dry you lose the mid malt palate.

Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar Brewcraft/Rogue Ales Ultimate Beer Ingredients Kit
Hazelnut Brown is a rich malty brew with a touch of nut flavoring. The key to this brew is cool fermentation, 60°F is optimum, try not to exceed 65°F. 1.017-1.019 terminal gravity is acceptable

Rogue Soba Ale Brewcraft/Rogue Ales Ultimate Beer Ingredient Kit
Kit makes 5 gallon of beers. Includes instructions and all ingredients, Rogue's proprietary Pacman Ale yeast packaged by Wyeast is usually available to be purchased separately or as an option with this kit although the American ale yeast strains will also work well.
2 things you may notice when brewing Rogue Soba Ale-
1. The final gravity maybe higher than you're used to. 1.016 - 1.018 is normal. Soba has a fair amount of unfermentables, so not to worry.
2. Soba- buckwheat kasha- is high in protein, so the beer might be hazier than normal, this doesn't affect the flavor.

Rogue Shakespeare Stout Brewcraft/Rogue Ales Ultimate Beer Ingredients Kit
Ebony in color with a rich creamy head, earthy flavor and
a mellow, chocolate finish.
Stout is probably one of the most forgiving styles you can brew. Black in color, big roasted malt flavors and high bitterness can mask many imperfections! I recommend you ferment 60-70°F. A final gravity of 1.016 to 1.022 is fine.
Rogue's proprietary Pacman Ale yeast packaged by Wyeast is available to be purchased separately as an option with this kit although the included American ale yeast strains will also work well.
Stout was first introduced by Guinness in Ireland as "Extra Stout" (a stronger version of their Porter). Later, the stronger Imperial and Double Stouts emerged. Sweet, Milk, and Oatmeal Stouts are English adaptations with less alcohol and less bitter then the dry Irish Stouts. Victorian England recognized Oatmeal Stouts nutritional value and it is traditionally the drink of choice for nursing mothers and athletes. It is a beer equally at home with oysters as it is with a homemade pizza and freshly tossed green salad (or as a float over ice cream).
Rogues Shakespeare Stout received a 99, the highest score of the 309 beers in 44 categories at the 1994 World Beer Championships. The June/July 1998 issue of Mens Journal included Rogue Ales Shakespeare Stout as one of "The 100 Best Things to Eat in America."Based on Stuart Kallens book, "The 50 Best Beers in the World", Shakespeare Stout was ranked the third best beer in the world and best American Beer--which makes it the Worlds Best Stout!
Rogues Shakespeare Stout is ebony in color, a rich creamy head and a mellow chocolate aftertaste. It is made from Northwest Harrington, Crystal, and Chocolate malts, roasted barley and rolled oats, along with Cascade hop.
