Simcoe Leaf Hops 1 LB Simcoe is a high alpha bittering and aroma hop with what is best described as a "fresh cut pine" aroma. It is used most commonly in American pale ales. Usage: Bittering (and flavor and aroma) Description: Very unique pine-like aroma with ruby red grapefruit and pineapple notes. Low Co-humulone level (17%) makes for a very clean bittering. Known as a bittering hop with good aroma characteristics.
